Anjuna Flea Market, held Wednesdays on Anjuna Beach, is a vibrant hub for souvenirs and handicrafts. Peak season brings live music and unique specialty vendors.
sweet earth goa says: Wednesday day market. Famous "hippy" market for souvenirs and clothes right at Anjuna beach only on Wednesday during the day. In peak season also more handicraft and specialty sellers. In the middle is a cafe with music performances. We like to visit for the more handicraft and specialty sellers with goods you do not find easily somewhere else. For the adventurers, you can walk from here to Anjuna market via Bagjuna beach (see that tip). It will take an hour or longer to reach with no shade. Another way to go to the Wednesday Anjuna flea market is via boat from Calangute beach. They depart right from the beach close to Bongo beach shack, you can ask the shack staff for timing or contacts. Note: only open during season (approx. november till March), not in monsoon. Please check before going.
