Cabo de Rama Fort is one of the oldest and largest forts in Goa, built originally by Hindu rulers and later captured by the Portuguese, now in ruins but offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and coastline. It is associated with the Ramayana legend where Lord Rama and Sita are said to have stayed during their exile.
sweet earth goa says: We love the nature inside the fort surroundings. It is lush with a beautiful group of Banyan trees. Also the views are amazing! The fort is quite big so walk around to see all the different views.
